INT. MONK'S CAFE - DAY Jerry, George, and Kramer are sitting at their usual table. Elaine rushes in, looking excited. ELAINE: Hey, guys! Guess who's back in town? JERRY: Who? ELAINE: Frasier Crane! KRAMER: Frasier Crane? The psychiatrist? ELAINE: Yes, we've been seeing each other. GEORGE: (shocked) You're dating Frasier Crane? ELAINE: (smiling) Yeah, it's been really great. JERRY: (jokingly) So, how's he doing on the couch? ELAINE: (rolling her eyes) Very funny, Jerry. KRAMER: (excitedly) We gotta meet this guy! I hear he's a genius. JERRY: (sarcastically) Oh, I can't wait to feel stupid around him. ELAINE: (defending Frasier) He's not like that. He's very down to earth. The group exits Monk's and heads to Elaine's apartment. INT. ELAINE'S APARTMENT - DAY Frasier is sitting on the couch, sipping coffee. He stands up as the group enters. FRASIER: Hello, everyone. It's nice to meet you all. JERRY: (shaking Frasier's hand) Likewise. KRAMER: (in awe) I can't believe we're meeting the Frasier Crane. GEORGE: (skeptical) So, you're a psychiatrist, huh? FRASIER: Yes, that's correct. GEORGE: (awkwardly) I could use some advice, actually. My relationship with my father is pretty strained. FRASIER: (nodding) I'd be happy to help. What seems to be the issue? GEORGE: (hesitant) Well, he's kind of a difficult person to be around. FRASIER: (encouragingly) Go on. GEORGE: (sighing) He's always criticizing me, and he's never satisfied with anything I do. FRASIER: (nodding) That can be very frustrating. Have you tried talking to him about how his behavior affects you? GEORGE: (shrugging) I don't know. I guess I'm just afraid of making things worse. FRASIER: (smiling) Well, sometimes confronting a problem head-on can be the best way to resolve it. GEORGE: (nodding) Yeah, I guess you're right. JERRY: (jokingly) Hey, maybe you could give us all some therapy. We could use it. FRASIER: (laughing) I'm afraid my schedule is already quite full, Jerry. ELAINE: (smiling) Well, we'll just have to settle for hanging out instead. The group laughs and settles in for a casual evening together. FADE TO BLACK. ==== INT. GEORGE'S PARENTS' HOUSE - DAY George is sitting in the living room with his father, Frank. Frank is watching TV and George is nervously fidgeting with his hands. GEORGE: (clears throat) Dad, can we talk? FRANK: (grunting) What is it? GEORGE: (taking a deep breath) I just wanted to tell you that it bothers me when you criticize me all the time. FRANK: (rolling his eyes) What are you talking about? I don't criticize you all the time. GEORGE: (getting defensive) Yes, you do. Every time we talk, you find something wrong with what I'm doing. FRANK: (getting angry) You're damn right I do. You're lazy, you're ungrateful, and you're never satisfied with anything. GEORGE: (raising his voice) That's not true! I work hard and I try to do my best. FRANK: (yelling) Oh, please! You're a failure, George. A complete failure. George's temper flares, and he jumps to his feet. GEORGE: (shouting) That's it, I'm out of here! He storms out of the house, slamming the door behind him. ==== INT. MONK'S CAFE - DAY Jerry, Elaine, and Kramer are sitting at the table, sipping coffee. George rushes in, looking flustered. JERRY: (concerned) George, what's wrong? GEORGE: (panting) I just had the worst conversation with my dad. I tried to apply Frasier's advice, but it just turned into a shouting match. ELAINE: (surprised) What advice? GEORGE: (exasperated) About confronting problems head-on. But it just made things worse. KRAMER: (sympathetically) Hey, sometimes things have to get worse before they get better. GEORGE: (skeptical) I don't know, Kramer. I think things might be beyond repair with my dad. JERRY: (encouragingly) Hey, don't give up yet. Maybe you just need to approach it from a different angle. GEORGE: (nodding) Yeah, maybe you're right. The group sits in silence for a moment, thinking. ELAINE: (brightening) Hey, why don't you try doing something nice for your dad? Maybe that will help break the tension. GEORGE: (smiling) That's not a bad idea. Maybe I could take him to a ballgame or something. JERRY: (jokingly) Just make sure it's not the Yankees. We don't want to make things worse. The group laughs, and George seems to relax a little. GEORGE: (smiling) Thanks, guys. I really appreciate your help. The group raises their coffee cups in a toast. FADE TO BLACK.
